Why should I
submit my site to search engines?
Considering that over 85% of internet users find the sites they
want using Search Engines, it is crucial for your site to be
listed. Unless you have hundreds and thousands of dollars for an
extensive advertising campaign, Search Engines are the best and
most effective way to increase traffic to your site.
How is my site submitted?
Each month we will automatically submit your site to over 1,500
search engines and directory sites. We'll also carefully
hand-submit your site to sites like Google.com, AltaVista.com,
DMOZ.org, Sifter.ca and more.
How will I know that my site has actually been submitted?
Upon submission of your site, you will receive a Site Submission
Confirmation Report. In addition, many Search Engines will send
you a confirmation email for your submission request.
How long will it take for my site to be indexed and listed in
the search engines?
This will vary dramatically from Search Engine to Search Engine,
although your site should be listed within 24 hours. However,
because some Search Engines receive thousands of submissions each
day, it could take up to 6 months for your site to be indexed.
How do I get my site into Yahoo!?
For commercial sites, Yahoo! will no longer add your site for
free. Their Business
Express Program guarantees that your site will be reviewed by
an editor within 7 business days. The cost is a $299 ($600 for
adult sites) one time, non-refundable fee (meaning that if Yahoo!
rejects your site, you do not get your money back).
What is link
popularity?
Link popularity is simply the number of sites on the web which
are linked to yours. Having a good link popularity means that
there is a high number of sites linked to yours.
Why is link
popularity important?
With the notion that site with many links to it must be a
quality site, an increasing number of Search Engines are using
link popularity to determine search results. Some of the biggest
Search Engines, including Google.com, use link popularity as the
main factor in ranking sites. With this in mind, you can see why a
large number (or at least larger than your competitors) of
relevant links to your site is key to your Search Engine ranking.

optimization and why is it important?
There are many different factors with determine your sites

important to re-submit my site?

Directories will drop your site after 30 days. Re-submitting
your site every month ensures that your site listing stays fresh.
This is especially important if your site regularly changes in
look and content. By re-submitting your site each month,
your listings in Search Engines will remain current and
correct.
Do you guarantee placement in the top 10 of search
results?
If it were in any way possible, we would. However, it is simply unrealistic
to guarantee those kind of results. We've all seen the site
submission sites that guarantee "Top 10 Placement" or
even "Number One in Search Results", but don't be
fooled. Suppose five gardening businesses submitted their sites for
submission. How is it possible for each of these sites to be
guaranteed "Number One in Search Results"? Submitting your site through us will not guarantee you placement
in the top 10. However, once your site is submitted there are many
ways to help improve your ranking.
Will I get
drowned in Spam emails?
No. EasySiteSubmission.com does not submit your email
address to any of the link sites on our submission lists.
